Rather than let others tell my story, I'd rather tell you myself.

Independent / Anti-Socialist

I'm running as an Anti-Socialist.

For 25 years, I was a Democrat. Like many I no longer recognize the party I grew up supporting. What I see today is a movement that, in my view, has become more interested in ideological activism than improving the lives of everyday Americans. I believe government should put law-abiding, tax-paying citizens first, not excuse criminal behavior or divide people into competing identity groups.

LGBT

I'm gay/bisexual.

That's part of who I am, but it's probably the least interesting thing about me. I don't believe sexuality should define someone's entire identity, and I certainly don't believe it should determine how people are treated by the government.

Transgender Rights

I support every adult's right to access medical care, live safely, and be free from discrimination in housing, employment, or healthcare.

At the same time, I don't believe protecting transgender adults should come at the expense of women's rights or safety. I support maintaining female-only spaces where privacy, fairness, or safety are involved, including women's sports, prisons, shelters, and certain religious or community spaces.

I also oppose medical gender transitions for minors involving puberty blockers, cross-sex hormones, or irreversible surgeries.

Children cannot legally consent to sex. I don't believe they can meaningfully consent to permanent medical interventions that fundamentally alter their bodies. Those decisions should be reserved for adults.

Israel

I stand with Israel and with the Jewish people.

I condemn Hamas, Hezbollah, the IRGC and other terrorist organizations that openly advocate violence against civilians. I believe antisemitism has become dangerously normalized in many parts of American politics and public life, and I believe elected officials have a responsibility to confront it directly rather than excuse or minimize.

Donald Trump

Growing up in New York during the 1990s, Donald Trump wasn't viewed through the same political lens people use today. He was a well-known New York businessman whose projects, philanthropy, and public profile were regularly covered in positive ways. Like many entrepreneurs of my generation, I watched The Apprentice, and it inspired me to build companies of my own.

As a Democrat, I disliked him because that's what I was told by the media to do. Today, I support the direction he's taken the country, though I don't agree with every decision. I don't believe supporting a politician requires agreeing with them 100 percent of the time.

Abortion & Pregnancy Prevention

I believe preventing unwanted pregnancies is better than arguing over them afterward. I support making condoms widely available and ensuring affordable access to emergency contraception like Plan B. I also support comprehensive education about consent and pregnancy prevention before young people become sexually active.

Where I differ from many politicians is that I don't support taxpayer funding for Planned Parenthood. I believe its history of eugenics, removing unwanted races, and the forced sterilization of Puerto Rican women raises serious ethical concerns that deserve greater public discussion. I support spending on cheaper or free access to sexual health services from existing hospitals and clinics.

Law Enforcement & Criminal Justice

I support the NYPD.

I also support prison reform. Those two beliefs aren't contradictory.

I believe we should continue building on reforms like the First Step Act while also giving law enforcement the resources they need to keep communities safe. I come from a police family. I understand both the dangers officers face and the very real dangers that exist in neighborhoods where criminals often prey on the people with the fewest resources.

The overwhelming majority of police officers serve honorably. Media attention naturally focuses on the worst cases, but I don't believe those cases define the profession.

Our goal should be rebuilding trust between law enforcement and the communities they serve so fewer young people end up entering the criminal justice system in the first place.

America's Role in the Middle East

I believe Israel remains America's closest ally in the Middle East and that maintaining that alliance serves America's strategic interests. I will always condemn Hamas, Hezbollah, the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), and other organizations that use terrorism as a political tool. I also support the Iranian people who seek greater political freedom and oppose the current government.

Immigration

I support secure borders and enforcing existing immigration laws.

I oppose sanctuary policies that prevent cooperation with federal immigration authorities. I believe immigration should be lawful, orderly, and based on clear national interests. I also believe taxpayer resources should be focused first on American citizens rather than providing long-term public benefits to people who entered the country illegally.

America has always welcomed immigrants. It should continue to do so. But immigration only works when the law actually means something.

Those are my views.

You don't have to agree with every one of them. My mind is not set in stone and with debate and strong consideration of the facts, over feelings and manipulative media, I’m sure certain views could shift.

What I hope you'll see is that they're mine. They're based on my experiences growing up in New York City, building businesses, creating communities, and watching the city I love change over the last four decades.
